Starlink Installation Process
If you're ready to have your Starlink installed, here's how to prepare:
Step 1 - Send Us Your Info:
Fill out our Service Request Form with your name, contact info, address, and any special notes. We'll review your location using Google Maps. If needed, we may request photos for a better assessment.
Step 2 - Site Assessment:
We'll review your info and photos to ensure a clear view of the sky for the dish. If we can't fully assess your site remotely, we may schedule an on-site survey. This helps us plan for mounting, wiring, or any special requirements ahead of installation.
Step 3 - Obtaining the Equipment:
After learning more about your requirements, we can point you in the right direction where you can obtain the system you will need at your location. Most people use the standard system yet many work from home customers tend to use the commercial system. If you don't know which system is right for you, this is something we will help you determine.
Step 4 - Book Your Install:
Once everything is reviewed, we'll email you a quote with pricing and details. After your approval, we'll book your install and get your Starlink system professionally set up.
Standard vs. Advanced Installation — What's the Difference?
Not every install is the same. Here's a quick breakdown of what each type covers so you know what to expect before we quote you.
Standard Installation
Clean, Professional Setup Using Your Kit
A Standard Installation covers everything you need to get up and running properly. We'll mount the dish in the best available location, route the included Starlink cable neatly, and connect your router in a suitable spot within range — all with clean entry points and tidy, secured wiring. We also connect your devices to the new network so you're ready to go the moment we leave.
Advanced Installation
Going the Extra Mile for Difficult Sites
An Advanced Installation is for situations where a Standard Install can't get the job done cleanly. This includes running cable through attics or crawl spaces, extending runs with custom Cat6 cabling, or installing external conduit and mounting hardware to overcome challenging terrain or building layouts. For example, if your dish needs to be mounted down by a shoreline and the cable has to travel 150 feet into the house — we'll make it happen, and it'll still look great when we're done. Pricing is quoted based on your specific site requirements.
